Paresh Shetty is a member of WLC College’s Employer Council. He works at Hewlett Packard India Sales Pvt. Ltd as Country Manager for Graphics and Imaging Business. He has a wealth of experience and has worked for major corporate as  Xerox Modicorp Ltd, Data Product Division at L & T, Newgen Software Pvt Ltd and Communication Links.

The Employers Council has been the source for the course curriculum since 1998. This format has helped us to bridge the gap between traditional course content and the market’s need and demand.

These are his views on WLC College Curriculum initiative:

“It looks like a good initiative, by making the curriculum dynamic, you are preparing the student to be ready for the current market rather than sticking to old and standard curriculum which might not be relevant in the current environment. Also, with industry leaders and experts as the source of curriculum design may just be the perfect way to harness dynamism.”

WLC review- by Vivek Singh

wlc college reviewHi,
WLC College was referred to me by my cousin who also went to the college for its management course. So I decided to sit for its entrance exam, and was able to get through.
I decided to pursue specialization in finance. In the finance stream, grasping the concepts and basics are highly crucial as even a slight deviation will give you errors in any financial task. Therefore the method adopted by teachers should always be carefully planned. In this regard, the teachers at WLCI were able to carefully guide us through all the steps of any question. With deep discussions and constant practice, we were able to understand all the principles in our lessons.
Furthermore, the college always put emphasis on practical learning. This is why they provided us with internships in various companies. This truly broadened our vision of why and how the lessons were crucial for a successful career. This experience also helped me to establish a good connection with the company I interned and later was recruited by the same.
The college also motivated and groomed us in business ethics and personality development through the cutting edge camp. The camp introduced us to various industry leaders in the stream. These motivational sessions inspired me to move towards a prosperous career.
Thankyou,
Vivek Singh
